VIC 32 'Clyde Puffer'

VIC 32 is the last seagoing coal fired steam 'Clyde Puffer'. She was built in 1943 and has been well known for the last 30 years on the West Coast of Scotland. Filmed here as it paid a visit to the Titan Crane, Clydebank.      Thursday 6th may 2010

Beardmore Sculpture by Tom McKendrick.

A sculpture of the Dreadnaught, HMS Ramillies. This great ship is a symbol of pride and purpose reflecting the relationship that Dalmuir had with the Royal Navy and its shipbuilding past. I filmed this on and off for 3 months from December 2009 till February 2010.

The last day of The Renfrew Rose. This ferry boat has been crossing the Clyde since 1984. Today, the 31st March 2010 it did it's last crossing and was replaced by smaller ferry boat.

Saturday 21st November 2009. The Clyde Shopping Centre Christmas lights were turned on today. Music and dance was laid on with a Greek Theme.

 

 

This is the full dance of the Glasgow Hellenic Dancers and the Scottish Greek Quartet. I love it. Can't get the tune out of my head, I keep whistling it.

 

 

 Saturday 26th September 2009. Dalmuir Park Illuminations. The event was on for three nights.
